My name is Joseph Sevcik and I’m a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Dubuque. I hope to one day be a Catholic Priest. Some of my influences are Jesus (left him out the first time I wrote this, oops), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Therese of Lisieux, Pope Francis, Bishop Robert Barron, and Saint John Paul II. I enjoy running, playing the piano, guitar, and watching sports. I enjoy good literature, coffee, and desserts. I really like desserts. I hope to open a bakery when I retire at age 90.

I graduated from Iowa State University in 2014 with a BS in Kinesiology and Health and from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with a BA in Philosophy. I currently am studying Theology at Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein, IL.
